Acts 2:23

Acts 2:23

Some monergists try to confuse the term 'foreknowledge,' claiming that it must mean either 'forelove' or 'foreordination' here, and hence, everywhere else as well. Such is not really very good evidence, as it is more likely saying that God used both His divine power and His foreknowledge of even the sin people would commit (such as condemning His Son) to deliver Christ to death for our salvation. So while God Himself would not be one to foreordain their wicked actions, he did know of their wickedness, and used it to deliver Him as the sacrifice for our sins to His own glory.
