After issuing my challenge to Reformation Theology, I have decided to post a page that lists the theologians I have submitted it to, when it was submitted, when and if they responded, and what their response was along with any following dialogue.
Updates:
07/23/2008 - After stemrolling Triablogue a second time, then breaking up their notorious sockpuppet ring, I got a counter-challenge to do formal debate on this subject from one of their readers named Turretin Fan. We're in the cross-exam portion of the debate presently.
01/29/2008 - Got a response back from K.B. Napier, he insists that it's not all Charismatics that he's condemning as false gospel teachers, merely those who teach Arminianism. Yeah, what a relief. I've countered his accusations by presenting him with my challenge, but like most false accusers, he doesn't take too kindly to being confronted with the facts.
01/23/2008 - Response from Adam Murrell and a counter by me.
01/18/2008 - After enjoying a nice vacation following the decisive, proverbial mopping of the floor with Triablogue, it's back to the salt mines. This time a challenger came to me from a blog called TheoJunkie, though he didn't have a lot of steam in the arena of debate. Ben's blog also got noticed by the president of Redeeming Grace Ministries (I think a relative of Dr. Stan Murrell) who's pretty eager to defend Calvinism , we'll give him plenty of opportunity to.
11/27/007 - Triablogue has responded to my 'bullying.' Check it out below.
11/24/2007 - Looks like the militants at Triablogue are attempting to take a stab at me. [Name removed at writer's request] Belvedere wrote a hysterically bad response to an article I wrote, which was easily torn to shreds before I dropped the challenge on him and the rest of Triablogue.
10/07/2007 - More names are on the list, but answers are in short supply. I invited the hyper-Calvinist Vincent Cheung (who actually does believe that God is the author of sin) to respond to it as well.
8/27/2007 - Sent the challenge over the weekend to a guy that goes my the monicker 'Jesus' Boy,' and runs a blog called 'Arminian Heresy' -- along with about 25 other blogs. No, I'm not kidding. Is it possible to blog for a living?
8/13/2007 - Ah yes, after a nice relaxing Sunday, I'm back to gang-busting. Added a new link below for other dialogues, in which I address Rhett Kelley's counter-challenge. I also address his Calvinist assertions about foreknowledge here. Also answered Gordan Runyan's latest post on Revelation 22. Most of his defenses seem to revolve around the fact that the scriptural warnings are speaking to unbelievers as well. How this helps their case I don't know, since if it applies to believers at all, then it already poses problems for eternal security.
8/11/2007 - Wow, now I see why they call them the mob. I was expecting something like a collective or representative response, but several of the Reformed Mafia took the time to write individual refutations for the challenge. Rhett delivers me something of a counter-challenge (which I shall address in a separate link below), and was even nice enough to offer me a copy of Why I am not an Arminian. Though I'm technically already not an Arminian, it could prove interesting reading. Looks like I made them an offer they couldn't refuse and they were sure to send me a message. I'm not worried though, I got this in the bag; my debate skills are almost as good as my puns....oh...wait...
I rearranged the format just a bit, our dialogues (links to their stuff and my response if any) will be categorized by passage below.
8/9/2007 - Congratulations to Gordan Runyan on being a very fast first responder to this challenge, you can see it on his blog page linked below, likewise Josh Hitchcock on his page has also taken up the gauntlet (does 'gauntlet' sound too arrogant?). I will respond to you in short order.
8/7/2007 - Put the hit on the Reformed Mafia, Rhett Kelley, Josh Hitchcock, Gordon Runyan, Sam Meza, Seth Fuller, Douglas Mabry. I might also add Trevor Almy of Reformed Orthodoxy, but I couldn't find his contact info.
